Colorado Gamma Governance & Operations
This section houses the core documents and standards that define how Sigma Phi Epsilon Colorado Gamma governs itself, plans its work, and conducts official business.
These materials are authoritative, establish the chapter’s operating framework, and do not reset year to year. They exist to train leaders, guide decision-making, and ensure continuity across officer transitions.
1. Chapter Bylaws & Administrative Policies
The governing law of the chapter.
Defines authority, membership standards, voting thresholds, quorum, discipline, and amendment procedures.
2. Chapter Operating Plan

Establishes priorities, objectives, accountability, and execution for the academic year within the authority of the bylaws.
3. Chapter Meetings
The official standard for conducting chapter business.
Defines meeting structure, roles, motions, discussion, voting, and use of Robert’s Rules of Order for all regular and special meetings.
4. Officer Transitions & Continuity
The standard for leadership handoff and institutional continuity.
Defines expectations for outgoing and incoming officers to ensure knowledge transfer, accountability, and uninterrupted chapter operations across terms.
