2025 Colorado Gamma Balanced Man Scholarships
At Sigma Phi Epsilon, we believe true success comes from developing leadership skills, applying classroom teachings, and forming meaningful relationships with peers who share similar values. As students at CSU, we’ve found that balancing these aspects—academic excellence, athletic involvement, and personal growth—leads to a well-rounded and fulfilling college experience.
Through the Balanced Man Scholarship, we aim to recognize undergraduate male students who exemplify the qualities of a leader, scholar, gentleman, and athlete—traits that foster a balanced life. This year, we will award four $250 scholarships to students who have shown excellence in both their high school and collegiate careers. These scholarships are a way for us to honor those who understand the importance of balancing mind and body, and who will continue to develop these attributes throughout their time at CSU.
Balanced Man Scholarship Application Process
Introductory Meetings
February 23 – 28, 2025
While the scholarship application is open to all students, we strongly encourage interested applicants to attend one of our upcoming recruitment events. It’s a great opportunity to meet current members of Sigma Phi Epsilon, learn about our values and what it means to live a balanced life, and see how we support each other’s growth both academically and personally. These meetings are designed to ensure that applicants align with our mission.

Applications Due
February 28, 2025, at 11:59 pm
Complete your online application by February 28. The process takes about 30 minutes and will give us a chance to learn more about your achievements and aspirations.
Interview Decisions Released
March 7, 2025, at 11:59 pm
All applicants will be notified by March 7th about their advancement to the interview round. We’ll share interview sign-up details with those selected.
Balanced Man Banquet
March 14, 2025
The top 4 finalists will be invited to the Balanced Man Banquet, where we will honor them in front of their families and the Sigma Phi Epsilon community. During this event, we will present each scholarship winner with their $250 scholarship. It’s also a chance to connect with our fraternity’s executive board and learn more about how Sigma Phi Epsilon can help you achieve your personal and academic goals.
